hi there!
Welcome to my page. My name is Cindy and I am a therapeutic optometrist in Palo Alto, California. I am also a RYT-200 yoga instructor!
I am passionate about providing quality eye care to my patients, while incorporating new research techniques and treatment options. I enjoy teaching and mentoring optometry students. I have served as a board trustee of the Santa Clara County Optometry Society.
My yoga journey began in optometry school, when I felt like I needed it the most. Yoga never fails to provide me a sense of calm with a fresh perspective. My goal is to guide my students through a meditative flow that connects movement with breath.
Originally from Houston, my family and I headed west to the Bay Area in the summer of 2019. We have 2 young boys (a 5 year old and a 3 year old!) as well as an 10 year old chocolate GSP mix. Life is crazy but on weekends, you can find us exploring the beautiful trails and beaches up and down the coast.
